The Tower

The Tower . . .

The tower was added to the west end of the chapel in the late 15th century.
The fine window in the tower is built
in perpendicular, Gothic style.

The Little Room in
the Tower . . .

is reputed to be the smallest classroom in England.

It was the study of James Mortimer,  Headmaster
1876-1918.

When he started there were only six boys but by 1889 there were sixty.
